Free Daily Cleaning Checklist

Keeping our homes clean is a huge part of being productive. When things are unclean and untidy it’s hard to focus and get the things that we want done. Establishing a daily schedule to work from is a super helpful tool. It makes cleaning easy to keep up with.

I made this daily cleaning checklist to help make keeping a clean home super easy. It doesn’t take much time to do the few tasks on the checklist every day, but the results are so great! If you keep up with your cleaning, you’ll never have to scramble to clean your entire home right before you have guests over.

The key here is to make cleaning a part of your daily routine. If you put in the work to stick to a schedule, it will get easier and become a habit over time. Then you will have more time to enjoy your home.

Here are a few tips for you to remember when following any cleaning schedule:

  1. Put it in your calendar! Setting up a solid routine is super important to accomplishing any change in your life. Adding a cleaning schedule to your day is certainly not enjoyable change, at least not at first. If you schedule time to clean at the same time every day, it will eventually become a habit!
  2. Start from the top, and then work your way down. If you clean your floor first, and then dust off your dresser, you’re going to have to clean the floor again! Always clean the highest point first and then work your way down.
  3. Clean dry surfaces first, then the wet ones. You’ll save yourself a lot of time if you dust/sweep first then wipe/mop after.
