Tropical Berry Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is super delicious and filling. It only takes a few minutes to whip up and is the perfect mid-day snack.

INGREDIENTS:


Frozen strawberries

Fresh pineapple chunks

Almond milk

Unflavored protein powder

Stevia sweetener

**Frozen fruit can get expensive if you have smoothies a lot, like me. My favorite thing to do is buy fruit on sale and freeze it myself. It does take a little extra effort but is super worth it.

If you like your smoothie bowls thicker, you can use frozen pineapple. I used fresh in mine.


If almond milk isn’t your favorite, feel free to substitute for any type of milk. Or, for a more tropical flavor, you can add some coconut water.


I love to use unflavored protein powder. It’s really good in any recipes that you want to add some extra protein to. I use it in healthy baked good and smoothies all the time. It is hard to find in stores, I got mine on amazon really like it. The link is below…

The stevia sweetener isn’t necessary, but since the protein powder is unflavored and unsweetened I like to put a little bit in. You could also use honey and would be just as good!

Tropical Berry Smoothie Bowl

Yield: Makes 1 Serving

Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop Unflavored protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon stevia sweetener
  • toppings of your choice

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender or food processor.
  2. Poor in a bowl and top with your favorite fruit!
  3. Enjoy!
