Fall is here, and Brandon and I have started eating healthy and working out again. Yesterday we did a pantry purge, grocery shopping and meal prep for the week. This morning marked the start of working out and eating healthy.
We actually did this at the beginning of the year and did super well for a long time. We were eating less and working our regularly for about six months, but then summer hit and we kind of fell apart. No more being lazy. We are getting back into it now and going full speed ahead!
I did a weight training workout this morning and after wards had this delicious protein shake. After I made it, I took a sip and knew I had to share it with you! So before I could drink it all I took advantage of the fall leaves and took a few pics, and put this recipe together.

Spiced Almond Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 - 1 cup ice
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- optional topping - whip cream and cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Depending on how thick you like your shakes, add more or less ice.
- Poor into a cup and top with whip cream and cinnamon.
- Enjoy!
